Vodafone UK opens up its arms for pre-orders on the Nokia N8

Although future owners in some markets are going to be surprised to find their Nokia N8 handsets waiting for them when they arrive home this weekend, Vodafone UK customers are now just getting ready to get comfy with the upcoming Nokia handset.

The mobile operator announced today that they will be carrying Nokia's next generation handset and that pre-orders are now being offered for it. Thankfully, Vodafone UK is pricing the handset for the easy to swallow price of free on plans starting at £29.37 ($46) per month – which isn't too shabby when you think about it.

Although customers can finally get situated with a pre-order, which means that there will still be some wait required before getting the smartphone, there is unfortunately no time frame on record when shipments should begin to arrive or be sent out.
