Vizio brings 7-inch optimized for reading tablet to CES 2013

Vizio is aiming to widen its portfolio beyond just TV sets and computers, and it’s making a big step towards that by bringing a 7-inch tablet to CES 2013…

yeah but the puzzling thing about this article is that there is no mention of the feature that makes this tablet optimized for reading...is it some kind of screen tech or am i missing something here?

yup but the definining factor in any reading tablet will not be the size though its an advantage but the deciding factor will be the screen...like kindle or nook or the paper displays that are set to launch later this year by SHARP.

Vizio tablets(7 inch & 10.1 inch) and phones(5 inch & 4.7 inch) doing great job by running stock android 4.2 OS .Make it global.

Price this at a $99 (US) price point and this can easily become the best selling tablet in the world in its class.

VIZIO tablets are very very nice. Can't wait to see it when we recieved it in out store. But I'll wait till later this year for 5.0 KEY LIME NEXUS TABLET
