Vivo is a Chinese smartphone maker locally known for its pricy high-end devices with a soft spot for high quality audio. The brand has a new and coming phone, the Vivo X7, which is scheduled for release on June the 30th – together with its plus-sized compatriot, predictably titled Vivo X7 Plus.

Information about the Vivo X5 Pro (check out our review)'s sucessor is abundant, as the handset is out in the wild and already had its guts certified by China's communications regulation authority (TENAA). We're now treated to seeing it in a 15-second video posted on Weibo, a Chinese social network that's home to more than a few device leakers.

In short, the Vivo X7 is a slim iPhone lookalike with a 5.2-inch 1080p display and Qualcomm guts – the surprisingly powerful mid-range Snapdragon 652 SoC with an Adreno 510 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Reportedly, the smartphone features a 13MP rear camera and 16MP front camera, an usual arrangement that obviously caters to selfie lovers.

The physical home button houses a fingerprint sensor, and the phone has a 2930mAh battery. The operating system is Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned with Vivo's FunTouch OS. At launch, the smartphone will be sold in regal Gold and Rose Gold finishes with a white front panel.

The short video is available for your viewing pleasure below.
