Virgin introduces new music service - Virgin Digital Red Pass

Virgin Group entered the increasingly competitive industry of subscription music services by introducing Virgin Digital Red Pass. For $7.99 a month the new subscription music service offers users an unlimited access to its library of over 2 million digital tracks representing at least 15,000 record labels, 60 professionally programmed Internet radio stations, CD ripping and burning features. All downloaded audio files can be easily moved to portable music players that are certified Plays for Sure. Red Pass has one more unusual feature – if the users forget to renew their subscription, all of their downloaded music and options will be restored when the account is reactivated. Additionally, Red Pass will restore free of charge all purchased tracks if subscribers happen to lose them.
