Sometimes you have to just laugh at all of the gun slinging commercials being put out by wireless carriers, but then again, we don’t see it ending anytime soon. In fact, this time it’s not your usual major carrier versus major...

Honestly, how much customer service is needed on prepaid? Buy a card, top up, get another month.... That shouldn't generated that much confusion. OMG, I didn't get a text I think I should have gotten...let's call 20 times in a row about it. Get over it people.

When you are under contract that has a 200-350 dollar early termination fee over your head and you spent well over 200 dollars for that phone and have a 100+ dollar monthly phone bill. You expect and deserve the best service and customer service. When you spend only 35 dollars a month and are in no contract and can stop whenever you please. You are getting what you paid for.
It still cracks me up how people complain and say they want a 4.3 inch dual core qhd 4G phone on their no contract 35 dollar month service. Are you kidding me? We are spending way more money for the right to that.

With the way technology is increasing, phones that were $300 two years ago are now worth say $50. I wouldn't be surprised if prepaid phones got better spec's next year at the same $300 price point.
I couldn't wait to get the Triumph due to the rate hike to $35 a month, but right now the Triumph is going for $270 or less on Amazon.

the biggest problem with virgin mobile is their data and text message....it goes in and out of service all the time, thats why people call to complain...yes its prepaid but still people are paying for a service that is suppose to work for the most part all the time. its ridiculous that people have to deal with this.

OMFG Virgin Mobile has NO place to pick at T-Mobile, their coverage is beyond garbage. Waaaay worse than T-Mobile coverage.

Virgin Mobile runs off of Sprint nationwide network. To say Virgin Mobile's coverage is way worse than T-Mobile's is a little exagerated don't you think?

Virgin mobile doesnt use ALL of sprints network, just some. Its actually quite terrible and slow. The same reason why Sprint even thoe its truely unlimited can not compete with Verizon, probably at&t.

Well according to the coverage maps and from what I have experienced, they have identical coverage other than the roaming and 4G coverage available to Sprint customers. Virgin Mobile might be slow but not much slower than Sprint's own 3G network, until they start throttling your speeds that is.

those are maps, i speak real world. big difference. besides sprint is still horrible, my t-mobile is too but our excuse is GSM sucks, sprints got the CDMA but it still weak.

I have the Triumph on VM's $25 a month plan with unlimited data. I really like the 4.1" screen. The phone is made by Huawei, which is a mainland Chinese firm, and rebranded under the Motorola moniker. It is only a Motorola phone for marketing purposes.

Sprint fights with T-mobile. Therefore, virgin mobile should fight with simple mobile.

If i were a t-mobile customer right now, i would switch to sprint... but being that im a verizon customer and i can still grandfather my unlimited data... im happy with what i have now :)

lmao I love it, I'm sorry guys I don't know where all of you live but here in the bay area T-mobile and At&t coverage is very poor due to the fact they both focus on the data part of their coverage and not the voice part. Sprint and Verizon both use the same radio for their voice and data since going from 2g to 3g which means if you can email you can make a phone call too and its digital too thats why when verizon or sprint improve their data coverage they also improve their voice coverage too. where on at&t or t-mobile if you can email it doesn't mean you can make a phone call cause their data coverage is different from their voice coverage and their voice coverage is on a analog system still. this is why we have so many roaming agreements.
You can't get mad at virgin mobile its a prepaid meaning no overages no hidden fees no contract you pay for what you get
