This was one of the things that puzzled me when I heard about the craptastic camera they put on it. I appreciate the HD recording...but what's up with the camera? But then I realized...why would I carry around my iPad to take photos anyway? I mean, maybe I'd use it around the house, but ultimately, I'd just use my phone to take a photo, not a tablet. I never go anywhere without my phone, which has a nice camera...but the iPad would stay at home unless I am going on a trip...in which case I'd still have a phone.

I dunno. I still think it's crappy Apple stuck it with a bad camera, but maybe it was because of the price...?

yeah front camera on 10'' may not be such a great idea unless you have another use....

and maybe its just me but I wont leave my pad at home, i think its the whole idea of portable tool... I just hope good features come out that are worth having a good camera

There you appletards go again defending apple like illogical fanboys. You know that if it had at least a 5MP camera there would be a bunch of hipster douches walking around the park, rigging their ipads to tripods and snapping pics like its a flipping DSLR camera. Then they would edit it in iphoto on their ipad and act like they are genius photographers.

Don't tell me this is rediculous because appletards already do it with iphone 4.

Oh, and JeffdaBeat, look out for tiered data pricing to come to every carrier in the not too distant future... =)

I still think its akward to use the pad to take picks... but that sure wont stop me from getting the xoom and taking pics with it
