Some one got their hands on two BlackBerry Tour 9630 models. One apparently is a pre-release version made for RIM engineers and the other is a unit for carrier release on...tada... Vodafone. Our sharp eyed photographer noticed some changes between the two Tours. For example, the bezel around the phones are different with the pre-release version sporting a darker one. That phone also has printed by the camera the 3.2MP specs of the shooter. For some reason, RIM decided to leave that out on the version for carrier-release. You can check out the video on the source link.

While these seem like minor changes, who knows what internal changes might have been made. At least we now know that the Tour seems headed for Vodafone. We might have to see a change in the model number for a release on that carrier since xx30 designations have been for CDMA devices like Verizon's 9530 Storm. Vodafone's Storm is the 9500.

im 99.99% sure that the tour does not have a suretouch screen. Would be sick but the obvious way of knowing is that the phones going to verizon(they never get sick phones). Jabs aside, it looks like a solid phone but i do wish it had something else to offer other then bein a dulled down version of the 3year old Bold...oh well p.s. post a the vid or at least a link to it
