Video shows Samsung Galaxy S8 topping 205,000 on AnTuTu

0. phoneArena 18 Mar 2017, 10:23 posted on

SM-G950 is reportedly the model number of the Samsung Galaxy S8. A video discovered online apparently shows Samsung's upcoming flagship handset registering a spectacular score of 205,284 on the AnTuTu benchmark site. That would make the Galaxy S8 the new top scoring phone, taking over from the Apple iPhone 7's 181,807. The top Android model has been the OnePlus 3T, powered by the Snapdragon 821 SoC. That phone tallied 162,423...

100% true. It's due to because they have their own source code with Exynos and it's their SoC that they made, Snapdragon obviously was not made by them and yeah.... Exynos Galaxy models have always been superior to Snapdragon models.

And some fanboys though had the nerve to bitch about a 5% difference with the A9 with Samsung/TSMC but the difference between Snapdragon models and Exynos models has always been much bigger

Exynos model Galaxies have always been superior in pretty much every regard

He likes whining about standards against a company that can freely release low res displays and use the same design two times in a row without getting docked points for it.

Then when an android manufacture releases something quite different but with a slight resemblance they get docked 5 points . And if it's not qhd they get docked another 5...

Okay there buddy. If he really was a supporter or eliminating double standards Apple fans are who he should be whining about. Not this antutu crap. Lol

The old low res argument, every time a fandroid do this, 5 pandas die, 300 african children die from starving and 3 more Donald trumps are born...
so for you it's ok that Samsung releases a tablet with an old chip at premium price (the opposite from apple who puts the most powerful chip on tablets since they are supposed to be a more productive device), but it's not ok that apple puts the best chipset on their phone delivering the fastest, smoothest and best user experience just because it doesn't put a qhd screen on the phone to use it for VR purposes which almost nobody uses, seems logic :S

Resolution has very little to do with actual day to day performance unless you are gaming. A S7 at 720p performs exactly the same as a S7 at 1440p outside of gaming. This terrible misconception needs to die already

No matter what these phones score, they'll always have glitches lag, and crashes. Take this to the bank, the S8/Note will be the best phones feature wise. The iPhone 8 will be the fastest in real world performance. The S8 will win phone of the year, and the iPhone will sell the most units. Any takers?

It never changes bro. Every year I get new flagships from Apple and Samsung, and every year they get lag, and crashes. I'm just one of the guys who tells the truth about it.
