BlackBerry says it gives your business a platform, not just a smartphone, and says your business will succeed with its phones...

like always, jrcrow shows just how clueless he is. Businesses jumped to the iphone thinking it would be good for business.. then they jumped right back to blackberry. The iphone is not a business phone. What a BB lacks in flash and pomp (and lets face it, thats all iphone is), it makes up for hard working business use. Regular users may move away from blackberry to the flashier options, but businesses wont.

you're a moron for thinking an applie iphone on at&t's network is as good as a BB on another network for companies.

i dont know if its just me, but rim's bb is almost like a silent competitor.... i mean its always android against iphone's os against symbian or webOS (although the last 2 are lagging in the race)... is it because bb's unique position as a business phone (although somewhat shifting to becoming a "regular" smartphone) or is it because of the out-dated looking OS, but some 40-50 milllion users show where they actually are in the game.... this is what htc would call "quietly brilliant"...

Silent competitor because they know where their strengths are and who their target market is...unlike Android and iOS who just want everyone on their own bandwagon...

What is it that the Blackberry can do that no other phone can? E-mail? I've been getting those for years on my Windows mobile and am getting them now on my iPhone. Android is no exception to this either. Data compression might have been relevant a few years ago, but these days with Networks upgrading to 7.2 and 14MB/s and LTE looming, not to mention the drop of data costs who cares. In fact most operators charge a premium when using the blackberry APN while roaming. Security? Do you really want your phone to authenticate in the UK or wherever? Is it REALLY necessary? I can use standard encryption if I really need to, but who needs it all the time? Operators need to invest in the blackberry platform.. And why? When Apple. Android and Windows Mobile (WP7) don't.. Blackberry = meh.
