VertaSwitcher Cydia tweak brings vertical app-switching to jailbroken iPhone
It's been a quiet few months for those of us with jailbroken iPhones. With no release of a jailbreak for 5.1.x as of yet, we're seeing Cydia hacks coming available at a slower pace recently. One notable mod that has just been released, called VertaSwitcher, is catching our attention. The Cydia tweak is essentially a switcher to go between running applications.

Where VertaSwitcher differs from the usual method, it scrolls the app the user switches to on the vertical axis instead of the normal horizontal axis. While it's not groundbreaking, and certainly won't change the user's life, we think it's a unique way for those wanting a little extra control over their iOS device. It's important to note that VertaSwitcher uses the same double-home-tap activation method as the stock app switcher, so the usage is straight forward and intuitive.

VertaSwitcher requires a jailbroken iPhone\iPad running iOS 4.0 or newer, and can be downloaded via Cydia from BogBoss's repo.

iOS had the "S" first. Apple will sue demanding ICS to be barred. So long to ICS on Android ;)
