Yeah the article isn't about Vermont getting AT&T service, it's all about the iPhone. Hey, I love Apple and the iPhone, but it's definitely not necessary for a whole article dedicated to it.

Kudos to Phonearena! Thanks for the breaking news update. Where do we go now that the little state of Vermont has the ability to purchase a phone from your sponsors?

iPhoneArena as usual everytime they do a pointless iphone article or turn a story about att getting service in a new area into an iphone story we all complain and point it out yet they keep doing it, I guess they dont read the user comments

Or they read them and just don't care what you think...just becasue it is not news to you does not mean it is not news. Also this artical is from BGR not phonearena...phonescoop and engadget mobile all ran similar stories so apparently it is new worthy or all four sites would not have posted it.

Or you are just trying to piss the person above you off becuase you know what you are saying is 100% BS. News my ass.

Then why are so many sites posting the same story? Once you can explain that one then we can talk...there are 7 posts here so people are clicking on the story to read it. Again if not news then why are there post and why are people reading it?

Its not that their posting the article. It's the fact that this website, like most readers are realizing, is consistantly posting news that exaggerate the importance of having At&t/iPhones. Seriously...

Well hear are three articals that this site posted in the last few months that go againt the "phonearena loves/supports/sponsors Apple/At&t/iPhone talk. Firefox performs better than Safari http://www.phonearena.com/html

I am with AT&T, but I CANNOT STAND the stupid iPhone. I totally agree...phoneArena needs to stop loving the iPhone so much...it is a plastic piece of crap. End of story.

You people are ridiculous. Do you stand in front of advertisements for products you don't like at Wal-Mart and rant and rave about how it's crap that they're doing so much advertising for something?? Or do you maybe just walk by?? You can do the same thing here and not waste your time opening up anything about the iPhone since you clearly don't care to hear about the news. Just because it doesn't pertain to you, or you find it insignificant doesn't mean the millions of other people feel the same way. True, they tend to note every thing that happens with the iPhone but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing.

Well said Hova! I could not agree more. You also must remember that all the post above this with exception to mine and Mjgio are all VZW subscribers...so it's not hard to see why they find the artical pointless but yet clicked on it and posted comments anyway.

Very valid point. However, still off target. Readers have been coming to this website for news about phones, carriers, etc. We do not come to this website to make any purchases but rather to get updates and information about upcoming handsets. I see where you were going with the analogy but it was inaccurate. It would be more relevant if we were to watch our local news, and they constantly broadcast "breaking" news about one type of religion. I feel the same way because I live in Utah and they always have news about a birthday that a Bishop had. It's just ridiculous.

i think alot of people come here to read reviews about PHONES and not just article after article about the iphone. its pretty much all they talk about now. it sucks

The issue I have with this report is that it highlights the iPhone. For anyone who's not familiar with coverage or politics in Vermont, one would easily think there was some kind of "anti-iPhone" ordinance in VT. But it's really about AT&T service now being present in the state. This has NOTHING to do with the iPhone. The iPhone!!!!! My God, PhoneArena. Can you get off your knees and take the iPhone's (censored) outta your mouth? All the great phones in AT&T's arsenal and you pick what? The iPhone!!!!! Well, here's a thought. If AT&T is finally getting a signal, more than likely, there will NO 3G there right away. So the iPhone 3G is just as plain as the other devices. Please stick to the subject for future reference. AT&T gets coverage in Vermont. THAT should be the headline.

Wow... After being in awe of all the posting out there about how this website is in love with apple (and I have been guilty of making an apple/phonearena post before), I now actually believe that this website is in love with Apple and Steve Jobs... incredible.
