Though Big Red charges $150 less for its version of the Touch Pro2, comparing the monthly plans over the 2 year contract life gives a different result...

I didn't complain about having to read the postings so much as what the postings have to say. But perhaps you're right. I should let the anger and clannish attitudes fester and grow and keep my thoughts to myself.

Verizon has their claims and so does every other wireless company. No one company is on top of the World. And remember that. You go with what works for U. I'm sorry, Verizon is not the grand master shit.

Has anyone noticed the TP2 is now listed as $169.99 on the vzw website? They must've discounted the price overnight by an additional $30

Don't any of you idiots know what you are talking about? Big red sucks! AT&T is the real deal! iPhone is the best! Now go and suck on that.

Take note: If you can get your month cost per subscriber above $60 than your doing good and your not going to be broke. If you can convince a customer that is on a $50 or $60 a month plan to a $70 plan, the company wins. Dan Hesse said it himself in the Interview with Charlie Rose, " People will pay a premium for simplicity". The any mobile, anytime is a good idea and will get people in the higher revenue plans and month charges. Put it this way: would you rather have 900 mins for $60 a month or 450 mins, unlimited, SMS, MMS, GPS DATA, etc, and free mobile phone calls (which is A LOT of people) for $10 more. Trust people will pay more for that plan.. In regards to coverage, VZW a nice job of building there 2g network but coverage is based on where you are. Who cares anyways, its still a windows phone so its in the hole from the start, you can take the gangsta out the hood, but you can't take the hood out the gangsta, haha :-)

Like everybody says, it matters where one lives in order to determine what service is best. I have used (and witnessed) every single carrier in my area, and Verizon is just the best, no questions asked. Im sure in other areas, Sprint, TMO, and ATT are better, but for where i live, Verizon is "the grand shit". I might be a noob to this site but some people's ingorance (cough cough facts&truth cough cough) is just stupid.

How about this? VZW TP2: $199.99 VZW Messaging only plan: $54.99/mo * 24 mos = $1319.76 Skype unlimited country: $2.95/mo * 24 mos = $70.80 Skype online number: $30/yr * 2 yrs = $60 Total = 1650.55 or $68.78/mo This nets me 10,000 minutes voice per month to USA, unlimited messaging, unlimited web browsing, unlimited data. Probably not for most folks, but it is an idea. Just gotta be sure not to use the actual CDMA radio, or it's $.25/min - that could get expensive. I'm not entirely familiar with Skype, so I don't know how the call quality is. I'm just looking at ways to save.
