Ok i took a look on Verizon site and they dont mention the accelerometer at all. Took a look at HTC site and they do mention the feature but its not even in the highlights. Oh well i guess I will have to test this phone when i have a chance.

NO it does not . It has a slide out keyboard that changes from vertical to horizontal.....

check out the Omnia at launch, the phone will come with a internal 8gb of memory with the ability to add an additional 16gb!!

Wow, pretty ridiculous prices on these phones. Yea they're PDA's bla bla bla, but then again Verizon has always had a thing for raping people on their PDA devices, good lord!!

off topic but in fergies glamerous music video and you got me by one block radius music video they both show them using the env. i wonder how many other famous ppl use verizon? hey guess what, this is old news but a few vzw employees got fired for looking at obama's phone records! so to my suprise obama DOES HAVE VERIZON :-). anyway...this phone should be a hit but why is it sooo expensive!?

PDA/Smartphones from VZW generally do not have V Cast access. All new PDA/Smartphones launched from them will require a data plan of at least $29.99

played w/ the omnia today with the samsung rep. it actually works really well. goes a long way to get that bad Glyde taste out of your mouth.

Yes. All PDAs allow 3rd party app support. The Omnia runs on Windows mobile 6.1 professional, with a few tweeks to the interface courtasy of Samsung.

I just gave up on Windows Mobile Devices, I traded my 6900 for a curve over the weekend and really love the phone. These are cool phones, but I worry about software issues.

omnia isnt global. not the VZW version. only CDMA
