From the looks of it, UPS has been busy unloading shipments of Verizon Wireless brochure materials and boxes...

IPhones are exploding and you can't take out the battery. Besides with "virtual" and physical keyboards it puts you in control of the phones physical stability. I vote +1 for dual keyboards and functionality -1 for exploding piece of shit. Droid FTW

The very fact that this is one of the best WinMo handsets out there will keep it's sales fine. But yes, Samsung should have pushed Verizon to get these out sooner...I was very set on buying one. But not now.

Well I got my Droid yesterday and I will still have the thirty days to change over to something else. If the Omnia II is that much better I may switch, that is if its out on Black Friday, but I like the Droid a lot so far.

keep your droid, the hot win mo device will come out next year win mo 7 should be sweet, for now I think android is better than the current windows offerings, unless you need office apps tethering or exchange support

The features of the phone are nice spec wise but I think it feels cheap in the hand. I have used it a couple times and I was not overly impressed. Can't really explain, it just felt plasticy. It is a huge improvement over the 1st Omnia but a nicer screen would not make me chose this over the Imagio if I was in the market for WinMo.

I have been a winmo owner for the last 3 years now and really like the system. When I switch phones it makes the time arranging and getting to know it a lot simpler. Not that I am opposed to trying a different system, and from what I have read android is very good. However, what is really suprising to me is that all this complaint about the omnia II coming with 6.1 and not 6.5 which really would probably have no significance on this phone. Any omnia 1 owners would know this. Samsung has their own shell that pretty much takes away from the winmo experience and makes everything touch friendly. What you will still see is the normal file explorer, active sync and other settings that you would normally control with winmo. Which 6.1 works just fine in my opinion. Definitely, nothing to whine about. I have loved my omnia and am really excited about 2. I have the itch for an upgrade but am holding off because if 2 is even a little better from 1 this phone will be hard to beat!!!!
