After the terrible support and non existant software upgrades for the Fascinate, I won't be buying another Samsung phone, that's for sure.

Samsung makes good phones no doubt but waiting for an update to a device is like watching paint dry. I am more prone to purchase a device like a variant of the Google Nexus S where Google shoots you the device updates directly with no crappy bloat-ware slowing down your device. Just give me what I need and I will buy the bag to match the outfit later.

Been waiting for the Thunderbolt since Feb 6th. I even did the pre-sale on it. Since it has been delayed so long I have lost interest in the thunderbolt and it's 1400 mAH battery. Since it looks like all 4 will be released in a few months I think I will wait and consider the Droid Bionic.

Motorolla better hurry there asses up with the BIONIC or it will come out to late for the race. The physical buttons are nice on the Stealth though. we are seeing less and less of that now a days on phones. I would like to see something come out as sturdy as the Droid X and have physical keys. verizon is laggin i need a new phone haha

Each of this first wave of 4G phones will have something unique to offer:

Tbolt: first to market (or so we thought!), Sense
Stealth: AMOLED, physical buttons
Bionic: dual core, qHD screen
Revolution: ....

I'm waiting for a 4G Droid 3 w/ improved keyboard this fall.

The specs of this phone are looking real nice. If it is true about the battery life, I will probably be picking this phone up. Although the qHD of the bionic sounds pretty good, I think the AMOLED from the fascinate is gorgeous and would settle with that. I think the Stealth is ugly, but I really don't care that much about appearance of the phone so long as it does what I need. Physical buttons are a good implementation as I hate accidentally touching the touch sensitive "buttons" on my incredible while playing a game or doing anything else.

However, I am probably still going to wait until at least summer to see what comes out then. I really want something with decent battery life as the Incredible has sucked. I think if the Bionic has as good of a battery life as the Droid X it may be my choice, but as of now the Samsung Stealth is the best option in my opinion.

Other factors that will persuade or dissuade my decision will be whether the Bionic has a locked bootloader or not. Also, since I may wait until summer I am considering waiting for the second batch of LTE phones (even if I have to wait until the end of 2011) as I know the second batch of Droid phones were significantly improved from the first batch (the original Droid and the HTC Eris v. Droid 2, Incredible, and Droid X), so I have a hunch that the second batch of LTE Droid phones will hit my sweet spot. I don't like to be an early adapter that jumps on the very first of anything as I know many bugs and issues are worked out in later releases.

On the other hand, waiting 'til summer could be a bad choice on my part, as Verizon has stated that they plan on capping data. One of the best parts of Verizon is the unlimited data for smartphones. This would be especially nice on a rooted LTE phone as the wireless tether could potentially replace a land-based internet connection (for me anyway). All of these factors considered just make my decision more and more difficult. Patience is a virtue, but waiting too long could end up kicking me in the ass.

On the one hand, this is one of the sexiest-looking phones I've ever seen, and it has a great camera and a big, SUPER AMOLED Plus display, and a surprisingly good battery life on LTE considering it only has a 1500 mAh battery (the update said 1600, but is that just what it will ship with, or is that what this tipster's phone is using too?).
On the other hand, it is single core, has minimal internal storage, and is only running Froyo (extra depressing considering it is coming out in May-June.

Agreed, Stealth is a way cooler name than Charge, and Stealth fits perfectly, considering this phone's design is vaguely reminiscent o fa stealth plane in its curves.

Didn't see any mention of the RAM on the phone, is that spec known?

Though I live in Canada, so my money is essentially a non-factor when it comes to Verizon's 4G lineup, my favourite is definitely the Droid Bionic, simply because in terms of hardware, it is head and shoulders above the other three.

The only thing that I am worried about is this happening: the thunderbolt gets updated to 2.3 and samsung keeps telling us this phone will get 2.3 soon. 2.4 comes out and still no 2.3 for samsung. Samsung just says screw it and we get galaxy s 2 devices with 2.3 and dual core processors. That is why I won't buy this phone.

I don't really think that it'll have the "Droid" branding because that seems to be exclusive to the Motorola Android phones, with the exception of 2 HTC phones. I like "Stealth" and think that they could get away with calling it "Samsung Stealth 4G" I say that we'll just have to wait until it is officially announced and released to find out what this phone will be called and what specs it'll have.

I love Samsungs SuperAMOLED screens. They are awesome! But the support (ie promised, but never delivered Froyo 2.2) for their devices are horrible. They will lose business from me as well as many others because of this issue.

Thank goodness for the other Korean phone maker, LG! I hope the LG revolution doesnt disappoint. From the specs it looks to be an awesome phone. I might, however, have to make the switch to whatever carrier comes out with the LG Optimus 3D. Dual core, Dual memory, and Dual channel, stereoscopic camera that take 3D stills and video...it definitely sounds enticing!

So they took the fascinate and made the screen bigger, tossed in a little extra ram and upgraded the OS.....doesn't sound like a worthwhile upgrade to me, especially when there is going to be much more powerful devices available when this is available.
