Verizon's Palm Pixi Plus takes another price dip - $45 no-contract
Share:
Sure we know that some new webOS devices are on the horizon, especially now that the Palm Pre 2 finally on sale, but for those who don’t want to spend serious dough on a webOS smartphone, then you’ve got to check out this fantastic deal going on with the Palm Pixi Plus for Verizon.
Previously, we’ve seen third party sellers offering the smartphone at the no-contract price of $55 and even $50. Today though, we’re seeing a new record being made now that it’s going for the no-contract price of only $45! You heard that right, you’ve got a decent smartphone in the Palm Pixi Plus that has a price attached to it that some might considered to be subsidized.
With approximately around 10 hours left until this deal is over, you’d better think quickly now before it’s gone. But then again, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it come back, with a lower price point obviously, next week or some time after that.

That's because it's not activated. You still need to setup service with Verizon for it to work and it probably won't have a warranty at that point.

That's a damn steal. Gonna buy a few and flip them for 3 times that price on ebay!

Ha ha. Good luck. Have you seen what they are going for on EBay? You will make about $12 on shipping costs.

Makes you wonder. I question some of these sites selling these as well. Is it truly "no strings attatched"? Will you even get the phone?

I got mine. Takes about two weeks to ship and it wasn't factory sealed but all was in working order.

be nice if there was a sprint one of these, but anybody know if this phone could be used without activating the device, such as for wifi, using/downloading apps, etc? Because if so, I wouldnt mind snagging this.

I believe that the phone is a brick until activation if I remember correctly.
