Verizon's Holiday phone lineup leaked
This article contains unofficial information.
We have already told you that Big Red is preparing the launch of the HTC Hero, although the picture says "HTC Desire" and we were the first website to report exclusive information about it. However, the carrier hasn´t announced its choice of name for the Android-based handset.

The names Samsung Omnia II and Saga 2 gripped our attention right away. The Omnia II has not been announced yet, but it wasn´t such a long time ago when we showed you a picture of device with the carrier´s logo on it. Now we get another confirmation of the device as well as its release date - at the beginning of November. While you wait for official information about the Samsung Omnia II from Verizon, read our review of its GSM version.

This is the first time we have seen the name Samsung Saga 2 and we still don´t have any other information about it, aside from the leaked image. Still, the release date is mentioned and the device is scheduled to hit the shelves at the beginning of November, along with the Omnia II. Being a successor to the first Saga, we guess the phone will come in a classic candybar form factor, feature a full QWERTY keyboard and run Windows Mobile 6.5.
The picture also features the RIM BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 and Curve 2 8930. There´s been ample information about the second generation Storm and we know that the manufacturer has integrated a new Piezo technology. We can´t say we were really impressed during the tests of the prototype that we based our preview on, but we hope everything will be just fine with the retail units. According to the document, both handsets are coming out just before Black Friday that is on 27 November this year.

This is something new, since the information that we have goes the phone rolls out on 18 October. Please, do read our preview to find our more about the Chocolate Touch.

considering that anyone could have typed this up and sent it out and also the gateway netbook is not $510 with a $100 mir. it's $149 after a $100 mir so with both those things said, i think i will still just assume that none of this is accurate as of yet...

It is $510 COST and it does have a $100 mir. You are referring to the retail price.

it says $510 WITH a $100 mir. no mir on the retail price which is $510 and if you read it it doesn't say anything about COST.

Samsung Saga 2 does not need to exist. I currently own the first Saga, and it is a piece of garbage, especially since the software "upgrade" they released.

then why do you still have it? and theres this thing with a second phone implemented into a series.....they usually correct these problems with software....
