It can't be easy for HTC America president Jason Mackenzie to deliver bad news; but the executive took to his Twitter account to tweet that the Android 4.3 update for Verizon's HTC One is being delayed by a month. T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T customers with the phone have already received the update and Verizon customers were supposed to receive it by the end of this month...

It's not really HTC's fault - more like Verizon's.
Also please try and use more innovative ways of abusing HTC. Suck T C sounds like a pretty poor effort at bashing them.

Verizon may have the largest network in the States but for some god awful reason they have a big fat hard on for NOT updating phone software. They had much rather you buy a whole new phone. They did the same thing with the Galaxy Nexus and that is exactly why we will probably never see a Nexus device on Verizon

While what you said is true, I still don't understand why Google is the only one to suffer from Verizons slow testing. Both Apple and Microsoft have direct from vendor updates but not Google?
Why not let the OEM worry about taking the blame for slow updates or releasing updates to early.. it makes no sense to me.

i remember being frustrated at the delay in updates when I had an htc rezound. ended up installing the update myself cause I got tired of waiting for the OTA.
say what you want about apple, but one thing that's easier/nice is that when they roll out an update, it rolls out to all of the compatible devices. no need to be held hostage by verizon's testing.

This one is very expected and can't be called a news, imho... Saying Big Red delays the update is like saying Terr0rists loves killing common man, tiger killing and eating other animals, volcanos' lava destroying everything on their way, etc... These things are pretty obvious and are very well known devils...
