I like the idea of a netbook with integrated Verizon card. I'm thinking to get this for my wife to replace her daily paper-bound planner (her current HP laptop is simply too big to lug around) - but even at 2.4 lbs it might be too heavy. Maybe the Sony P series netbook at 1.4 lbs might be better suited for that purpose. But you'll pay for the lighter weight ~$900 for the Sony, versus ~$200 for the HP. I'll decide after holding each in my hand.

What else should you hold in your hand...how about all the extra money you'll be saving by not buying the Sony name and a little lighter weight...or 200 bones a light enough wieght and a kick a$$ PC. Are you really still pondering...nope

I played with one on Fri. I was impressed overall. I am not a netbook guy and don't have the need to own one but I think this one is solid and will do well.

I wanted to get a netbook. But decided that it didn't have enough features to suit my needs. I ended up getting a basic Studio 15 notebook from Dell.

these things are pretty badass. Each VZW store had a refresh last night so if you head into your local store, you can play with the live unit that is now out on the sales floor. Just let it be known, if you buy one of these and end up having problems with it, YOU MUST call HP. VZW will not trouble shoot any problems on these units since the warranty is not processed through us.......they stressed this fact BIG TIME in the meeting we had on friday.
