No, good thing he's not a Sprint or AT&T subscriber. Imagine, if you will, I implore you, being a Sprint customer and being locked in a dungeon of sorts. Then, imagine having to place an emergency call only to get this recording, "Sorry your call can not be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial again or ask your operator for assistance," this while trying to call 911. Or, imagine being in Union Square in NYC where AT&T has abysmal service and not getting service above or underground. Finally, imagine your locked in an iCloset and you've got your iPhone on T-Mobile "Bring your own iPhone" Unlimited deal, yet you can't get a signal to dial 911. Somehow, luckily, you get a signal only to be routed to T-Mobile's Customer Service [in India]…
I would like to nominate Verizon for a Nobel Peace Prize for Outstanding and truly "Global" cellular service and the good it does for humanity!!

Because speed has a lot to do with coverage and the ability to make a phone call.......

That would make one hell of a commercial.

Nothing like a kidnapping charge to deter similar antics y anyone else annoyed at the Verizon reps. I have a Comcast cable concentrator in a corner of my front yard, but when the Comcast truck parks in front of my house, I don't go out and slash the tires.
Is Cook's middle name Stooopid, by any chance?

Am I the only one who is thinking it to be too early to call it a publicity stunt?

AND I aint the only one i know many people on verizon that switched to att because verizon dnt get service in lots of buildings were as at&t is the only carrier over here which can literally hold a signal underwater haha. at&t works deep inside the hopsital in the elevators in the underground parking lot were no other company including verizon dont work at all..

Sprint failed on a woman...I remember taking a call from a woman who was raped trying to call into 911 but couldn't reach them. While in the middle of a park at the same time. It only worked after the guy finished raping her.
Key note: if you have sprint, make sure you never get any dangerous situations
