It's a touchdown for NFL fans! Verizon has just inked a deal with the NFL that covers all regular season and play-off games for 2014 and under the terms of the deal, all regular season and playoff games will be streamed over certain mobile phone platforms; Verizon's current NFL Mobile app streams NBC's Sunday Night Football package, ESPN's Monday Night Football and NFL Network's Thursday Night Football...

Only Verizon - 'nuff said!!
Like the way you guys took a jab at Blackberry! Let me help: they're not working too hard on their Berrys; it's either their screens are too small or their Berrys are too slow to handle the Live Stream or their Berrys just crash (unless they're using it for plain text).

F you NFL for doing this. It's bad enough only Direct tv gets all your games as it is.
Pure steaming BS.

Sunday Ticket is available as a subscription stream on PS3 and Xbox now. Directv doesn't hold exclusivity any longer.

Um, you still have to have Direct TV, still exclusive dumb ass.

Nice use of maturity there. You do not need to have directv to buy Sunday Ticket. Do some research before calling someone a dumbass.http://blog.us.playstation.com

You still don't get it do you? I still have to pay directv for sunday ticket. I can't get it any other way.
Just because I get it via the web on certain devices doesn't still mean I'm wrong in saying it is a directv exlcusive. Being stupid and excluding rooted or jailbroken phones besides not supporting my HTC Sensation is crap as well.

Oh, and for the privilege of mobile access cost $15 more per a month, plus
"PS3 owners *without access to DIRECTV* will also be able to receive NFL Sunday Ticket and live stream every out-of-market NFL football game this season for $299.95."
$20 since I can get directv here they won't just let me get it ala carte.

Nice! Now just make sure that Tebow doesn't land on a team, and this season will be awesome.
Dude can't throw. Period.

I think he actually has a better chance at getting a career as a Pastor than getting picked up by another team. He was seriously overrated, IMO.

Seems to me people are just regressing. Now, you tell me, why the heck would you want to see NFL games in tiny screens? I don't care if is a Note or iPad. When you can join friends and family at home, or favorite restaurant.

Because there are some cases where one can do it and enjoy it. Everyone doesnt live life the same way.
If its Sunday...and I''m out the house and I have to be.....this will be great. I missed a handful of games last year because I had to be out the house Sunday.
Its not that ppl are choosing to watch on a phone or tablet.....they have the option to if it cant be watched on TV.

ya know, not everyone can plop onto the couch on sunday afternoons and get a beer and brats and watch a football game. sometimes we have to be somewhere else, doing FAMILY stuff, and this gives those people the option to at least check in on their games in real time. you probably need to expand your thinking.

Why Junito really what you said is like saying why does anyone need cell phones when we can all just have our entire family sitting infront of the tv talkin to each other. having cell phones is stupid lol.
Some people work when games are being played. Sometimes you can not be infront of a TV.

With their data plans how many games can you stream without going over your data limit in a month?!
12. PAPINYC (Posts: 2229; Member since: 30 Jul 2011)
I can stream all of them: it's called Grandfathered Unlimited Data .. Ha!!!
15. johnriii (Posts: 221; Member since: 17 Oct 2011)
yeah, unlimited data on verizon is a beautiful thing. too bad I need to make it work with 8GB of shared data. however, that 8GB is 95% mine, since the wife doesn't use hardly any. now, finding out how much data one football game would use, thats the question.

An hr and half of video at sd quality is roughly 2.5/10ths of a gig. Hd quality usually closer to 4.5/10. Hope that helps.
Unless ofcourse verizon does something with the app to condense the signal you are getting so you dont use as much data

When I would be at work on a Sunday night I would prop my phone in it's dock and stream the game if that particular game was available. Either that or watch Red Zone. It's nice when you can't be near a TV.
