Verizon to roll-out OS 5.0 to BlackBerry Storm users
We received a screen shot of an email received by a Verizon Wireless store regarding BlackBerry OS 5.0 for the Storm 9530. Beginning on October 25th at 7PM PDT (4PM EDT) current Storm 9530 owners can go to the Verizon Storm site, click on "software download" and be directed to the OS 5.0 download. For customers ordering a new Storm via on-line, the DC will update all units to the 5.0 software, and Retail Stores will also only sell the Storm with 5.0 installed.

I hope this is going to be an even better upgrade than the last official OS. I really want to be able to truly enjoy my Storm, but this damn device is just making it so hard. It doesn't really matter though, cuz the new Moto Droid is looking outstanding compared to my current Storm.
