Verizon to release LG Optimus F5 as LG Lucid 2?

A rumor has hit making the rounds about a sequel to Verizon's LG Lucid which was originally released in March of last year; the LG Lucid 2 would be Verizon's version of the LG Optimus F5 which was recently introduced at MWC 2013 in Barcelona; the LG Lucid 2 could be launched from the nation's largest carrier as soon as next month...

The first Lucid was ok when it debuted. We sold a ton of them because we made a lot of money on each one. Next thing ya know, a bad batch came out. Nothing but battery complaints flooded in, so I stopped selling that p.o.s.
Now there's gonna be a second version? HA. I'm not gonna sell it.

Yeah Id rather sell the Stratosphere, and Samsung Illusion over the lucid. With how many returns we had for the lucid it was no longer worth selling.

haha ikr! The Strat 2 is doing pretty good, too! Same with the Stellar!
I never dealt with returns (with the Lucid). The problems would come one month after they bought the phone--so I would have tech support exchange the phone for them. They still ended up with the same problems tho xD

Stellar sells like a beast! Good phone for free. Shame the camera is pretty bad though. 3.2MP and no flash. Guess that is what you get for free right? lol

What's with Verizon and the crappy low-end phones? Not that I am interested in the OIptimus G pro, but are they going to release that on Verizon?

Verizon, I'm very underwhelmed. first no HTC One, now this? if it weren't for your superior network and Samsung, I'd be gone already. you guys need to represent a bit better than THIS.
