Verizon to pickup the LG VX8370 sometime next year
The LG VX8xxx series has been one of the best selling model lines for Verizon, and has included the original VX8000, VX8100, VX8300, VX8350, and finally the VX8360 this year. So you thought that was the end? Defiantly not! It appears that a new LG VX8370 has been approved and posted to the Bluetooth.org web site, though it is still missing from the FCC site. All that is currently shown is that it will support Bluetooth 2.1+EDR with profiles: HSP, HFP, OPP, FTP, A2DP, BPP, DUN, AVRCP, BIP, and PBAP. Since all the previouse models were flip phones, we can assume that the VX8370 will also have a clamshell form factor. Hopefully once it hits the FCC site, we'll know a little bit more about it, but don't expect it to be released until 2010.

Cool. I've had the 8300 and own now an 8100. VERY good phones!

I also have the 8100 and the 8300, great phones! Although the 8100 was prettier with the flashing light, but the 8300 was a bit thinner.

Yeah... but the quality of the LG VX83xx series died with the 8300. The 8350 and 8360 have been sub-par when compared to the 8100 and the 8300. Here's hoping the 8370 is better than it's previous models.

I also hope that unlike the 8360, the 8370 will be available for prepaid users, doubtful though :-(

yawn.....it'll sell because people just want ok phones that make calls and thats about it... how about an upgrade on the camera and maybe the screen?

The 8360 has been a solid phone. Lots of sales, no complaints. The 8350 was OK, but certainly not worthy of the 8000 series's reputation. Here's hoping the 8370 lives up to the reputation.
