7am here in Seattle and we have plenty. Have seen the stock in the back. Our store has over 80 our kiosk 20 of the Droid. That is not even including Droid Eris yet.

I doubt there will be a manufacturing shortage like the Pre

I hope you're right. The only question is which stores will be getting them. If I can't get the Droid, I'll end up going w/ the Imagio.

Use your stylus sparingly. That's what f'ed up the Imagio experience for me.

Hey DON, Thats because the pre was for desperate Sprint customers, VZW keeps their customers happy....

5. WinstonSmith posted on 30 Oct 2009, 23:07

I called mine this afternoon and they claim they are opening early -- but its 8am. That will prevent me from getting there until 4:00 in the afternoon. I don't know what to do....

i will be getting mine on vzw.com at 12:30 am friday.

So my question would be PRICING at the VZW Store. Will there still be a $100 rebate if you get it at the store location (like you would if you purchase it online or at Best Buy?) If we could get a tipster on store pricing versus online rebates, that would be great!!

9. gemini6991 posted on 31 Oct 2009, 01:00

Generally, buying in the store means you have to mail in the rebate. But who knows...personally I'm not the one to be waiting in line. Will be ordering mine online or over the phone that way I am guaranteed to get the instant rebate.

Just preorder it through best buy. It will be $199 instant rebate! I did so today...can't wait

Well guys, heres the breakdown as far as I know... Stores are opening at 7am (at least in SoCal) and stores will be plenty stocked. Inventory availability is dependant on store traffic (i.e busy stores get more phones, dead stores get less). The average amount of phones that have been allocated to each location seems to be around 100 or so and locations should have already recieved their initial shipments so go bug your local VZW location to see if theyll spill the beans on how many they got in. Also they will more than likely recieve at least another supplementary shipment during the weekend to meet demands for the phone. Personally, I went to BB and reserved mine. Cant go wrong with that instant rebate! :)

stores open an hour earlier than they normally do...most stores are going to get significantly less than you think they will....and they online ordering doesnt start until 8am as well...
