Verizon to launch VCast Apps on March 29th; certain BlackBerry models get first shot
A Verizon suit let slip to Engadget the news that the long-awaited VCast Apps store will launch on March 29th. The first device to be honored with the market will be the BlackBerry Storm (and most likely the Storm2, as well). Other BlackBerry devices will be receiving VCast Apps as the rollout widens, and after a few weeks and months, we would expect other operating systems to also get the online store. Verizon doesn't see VCast Apps taking business away from other stores like the Android Market. Instead, it is viewed as just another place where developers can get more distribution for their hard work.

As many as it can get! I can't stand the BB AppWorld! It's overpriced crap with only a handful of truly useful/entertaining apps. I'll take whatever app stores I can get my hands on; The more the merrier!
