Verizon has made it official as the Motorola DROID RAZR HD and the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD will both be launched on October 18th; the DROID RAZR HD will bite you for $199.99 with a 2-year pact while the long-lasting DROID RAZR MAXX HD will be $299.99, also with a signed 2-year contract...

Since I am a rookie in comparison to some off you, can anyone tell me the difference between amoled versus lcd or the retina? With the increased 313 ppi versus iphones 323 or so, or the really brilliant S3 screen, do you think the with the HD aspect and increased pixels will make for a nice screen?
