Could this be the announcement that Verizon customers have been waiting for since the launch of the original iPhone in 2007?...

Is is singlehandedly the most honest post ever on phonearena. I could only give it +1 but i really wanna give it +10. Droid is great. But aside from the better coverage it has nothing on iPhone. And in socal where at&ts coverage is only a little worse than vzw. that's not a big advantage.

Uhm, what if the answer is none of the above (I always pick that one on tests). I'm on my 3rd Droid due to handset issues and the store manager said to me, "...hold out for a few more days. We will have the TP2 in stores next week." That could one of them and the other, he mentioned they are coming out with another Android device, specifically referencing 2.1 software. Maybe that's it?

The worst thing the iphone did was go with ATT, i think the iphone is just amazing. But ATT is just awful, and it is costing the iphone and apple alot of customers. I left verizon for the iphone, might have to go back!

Iam sick of att customers saying (talk and surf the web at the same time) WTF who gives a shit and if i ever call someone and they tell me hold on i gotta check the score or something web related i would be like WTF call me when ur free and hang up on them, thats the only thing att has on verizon, its the LEAST IMPORTANT. Also lets all be honest here about the droid its a nice phone especially with verizon might be the best, but once verizon gets the iphone if they do, u guys will switch from ur droid to the iphone, i got BORED of my droid within 2 months its just very simple nothing special and its MOTOROLA calll quality sucks, people complain about not hearing me good and yes i had 3 of them its the PHONE just face it motorola sucks. Verizon has the best network thats why i still havent switched to ATT for the iphone even thought i hella want one.

Lets be honest... Most Android customers are pretty happy with their pick and wouldn't go for an IPhone. Its a toy. Its like the Samsung Jet, a really rich feature phone that wants to be a smart phone(IMO). I know I don't(pun intended) and never have wanted an IPhone. My Droid is perfect. And call quality... My wife has an IPhone and has more dropped calls than ever! That never happened when she had her Sony Ericsson or her Motorola Q. So please with the Droid users would switch to the IPhone if it comes to Verizon. That's just an IPhone fanboys wet dream.

Well to be honest i wasnt happy with it thats why i returned it, menu is way too simple, phone is ugly over all, the stupid lip gets in the way of physical keyboard texting, speaking of texting if you want to text really fast on the on screen keyboard, U CANT, because it doesnt catch up with you, if you do it really fast it will mess up, unlike the iphone the texting is very responsive and u can go as fast as you want, the task killer is annoying constantly have to close apps that i never opened in the first place, back cover comes off really easy especially if ur using a belt clip not a holster, should i go on? i get new phones as soon as they come out so i know what iam talking about, iam not saying the i phone is perfect, but alot of droid users have it caz the iphone is not avaialble on verizon right now, ONCE IT IS GAME ON.

why does it have to only be about apple when something "big" is expected to be talked about??? maybe it's the nexus one on verizon sooner than expected... maybe it's an early release of a windows 7 device... who knows but let's quit assuming that apple is gonna take over the world

Nothing lol. I think it was just done to "steal" some of the spotlight from Apple which it didn't really do. In fact I don't really know what Verizon has planned for the next 4-6 months... Nexus one offered, but not in stores? That's worked out great so far.. No. It doesn't appear any sort of apple deal is going to materialize. Awesome. No other big announcements or high quality phones announced. Great. There is what the moto devour? F that. All verizon has done is pissed people off with the $9.99 data fee, reduced the amount of phones they carry, post so-so quarterly information, and fail to announce any really interesting new phones. PLUS their stock continues to fall. And I'm even a Verizon customer haha. Oh well, the first half of 2010 doesn't look promising for Verizon to me. Anyone else notice the lack of advertising about the Palm phones? Almost like they could give 2 shits?
