Imagine running an iPhone, a laptop, and XboxLive through a MIFI on LTE... OMG!!!

Yeah I can imagine a $5,000 bill when I blow through 5 gigs in about 10 minutes.

Quemical you are a baffoon! Verizon is going to obviously remove the 5GB limit (see the above 60 Mbps) lift the rate to 99.99 for unlimited is the rumor

Its buffoon. Get your medieval insults right sir. Vzw isnt obviously going to do anything, you really think they will just throw away such a cash cow? Im sure it will be to "protect the network".

I agree! The only reason for the 5Gb limit is due to network traffic to keep the speed up. With a bandwidth that LTE is going to deliver the limits will be a thing of the past!

Obviously it would be in the best interest for the company to remove the 5GB plan. Whether there is still an allowance, only time will tell. But, you must admit, once LTE officially rolls out and the iPhone comes to VZW, what else could anyone possibly want in a service? The LG Shine!? Mifi w/LTE FTW!!!

Rumor mill for LTE is there will be a $99.99/mo Unlimited plan similar to how all the carriers did when 3G first launched. After a while pricing structure from friends that work at different cellular is ATT/VZW plans to offer 3 plans after the Unlimited promo or within conjunction. $39.99/mo 1gig $59.99/mo 10gig $119.99/mo 50gig With an unlimited promotion thrown in there to attract buyers initially.

VzW has not made any decisions on their pricing. Infact, from all the training and current price plan training for its employees VzW does not plan to remove the 5 gig cap. LTE for VzW is going to be their Data Network unlike AT&T who will be using LTE for both voice and data. This is why AT&T is still going to upgrade their 3G. LTE is going to take a long time for the conversion and when launch comes will be as limited as Wimax is now for Sprint. What will piss off VzW customers is every device for VzW will be CDMA/LTE Devices.... Meaning AT&T customers will be able to get full LTE devices while VzW customers will either have to buy "gateway" devices or buy CDMA devices.. If you honestly think that VzW will launch LTE capable devices with the launch of LTE think again.... EVDO Rev A has been out for a LONG TIME and they don't have many devices that can use it. On the other hand AT&T has far more 3G devices...

perhaps people should NOT just post what they think will happen. talking to our data rep (i work for verizon), the price for data won't go up, the cap will be removed and although they are going to release cdma/lte devices, the higher end devices at least, will have lte only. as well, you might think that verizon has little rev A devices, but the truth is that the devices that have Rev A are pda's and high end dumb phones. otherwise, what do you need rev A for when you're not going on the internet? it's not like it gives you better reception...

tshow.... does your data rep make 6 figures? i highly doubt it... he knows nothing about what will happen, he has no say in pricing or network, and his power within VZW is laughable at best. No one that's posts anything on here, or no one who "knows" some one on the "inside" knows anything about what AT&T or VZW are thinking... you are not important, your data rep is not important, and all you can do is speculate at best what you "think" (or mindlessly believe) will happen. I pay 65.00/month for 20mbps thru Cox... why would vzw allow 60mbps for 59.99.... that is stupid... 100.00/month is much more reasonable... but then again, it is still a wireless technology, completely unlocking data caps with speeds that high is asking for a network jam... stupid teenagers running bittorrent applications 24/7 doing tbs of data/month will clog the network and block speeds for others... a plan of 50-100gb is much more reasonable.

Tshow you work for Verizon?? Holy shit! You must have information noone else has! (thats what you wanted to hear right?)

You have to be kidding with this comment right? How can you say that AT&T has far more 3G devices when their entire network isn't even 3G? The entire Big Red Network is 3G with the exception of BFE locales. VZW never releases an updated anything without having devices prepared to go on it. If anything they have them ready first, and tell you to wait on the network to come!

And we all know (or maybe all of us but you) know that AT&T has all ready stated that they should have LTE going up by 2014. Wait, what??? 2014? Test markets by end of the year according to VZW. And you think by the time AT&T gets their LTE up and running VZW will still just have "gateway devices?" Do yourself a favor. Stop. Please...just stop. Yes, I know I'm an asshole. You don't need to tell me. :p
