Verizon sends out an update for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge
For the first time since it released the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Verizon has pushed out an update for the handsets. The new software version is VVRU1AOD5 and includes a few new goodies for Big Red subscribers sporting one of these two models. One of the new features gives you the ability to make drawings in the photo editor. There are also some layout changes to HD Voice Calling options.

Besides those minor additions, the update also exterminates some bugs that have afflicted the two models. Keep in mind that even though this update is a minor one, and the file is not massively sized, you still might want to be connected to a Wi-Fi network when starting the updating process.

Since the update is being sent out OTA, it is going out in waves. That means that even though Verizon has started pushing it out today, you might not see the update hit your phone for a few days. So if it doesn't come today, there's no need to call John Stratton (Verizon's CEO). Be patient and before you know it, you'll be downloading and installing this update on your Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge.
