Good for big Red. I might switch to Verizon and say F@#$ Sprint! Let this be a lesson Sprint, get on the bus!

You need to get out more, bucko... United States has cell phones/carriers all backwards.

In other countries, other than Canada, you purchase a phone, and then choose your carrier. We do it all backwards here.

No it isn't the case in the United States, perhaps it is for the average stupid american, but no, for instance I'm using the international galaxy s3 (mainly because of the quad core exynos) and even though I had an idea who I was going with I still bought my phone first then chose my provider (it's something called gsm, ever heard of it?)

My friend, I get out quite a bit. I've lived 10 years outside the US. Last year alone I traveled to Costa Rica, Colombia, and the Bahamas. I carry a Movistar, Tigo, RedPocket, and Kolbi SIM cards in my wallet for when my plane lands... Im well aware of how the market works worldwide.

I will gladly pay the subsidized Verizon price for my phone versus the full retail price. I feel bad for ppl over seas that pay well over $650 for an iPhone when they are now $150 on contract in the US.

However, my comment was regarding the poor grammar that made it impossible to understand the message that denied911 was trying to convey. I'm glad you understood it.

Got cha lol well it was quite obvious, and movistar??? Lol well I carry movistar and telcel btw movistar is by far the best carrier in the world, you can't beat their deals, especially when you load your sim and you get tipple the amount you paid for lol

And no man!! Subsidy isn't the answer!! I don't mind paying over 650 $ for a phone if my bill is going to be 30 $ a month (unlimited text, unlimited web with hotspot 5 gigs, 100 minutes) compared to $90 + that a single line regularly pays for, and sure I don't get LTE but an average of 10-12 mbps I can't really complain, enough for netflix, my laptop and iPad and not lag, and think about it man, over two years you'll be paying waaaaay over the 650 $ and hell there's people who even pay 100 $ a year for phone service, I thought about jumping on that plan, but it doesn't have as high of cap for tethering

Eh yes it does make sense....there's a thing called gsm which gives us the freedom to buy actual quad core exynos (that's what I'm doing) phones from Europe or just simply any phone we want, so it makes perfect sense to buy the phone then the carrier in which you want the phone to run

Exynos is the fastest processor there is, it is a quad core, prefect for multitasking, and even though tegra3 is also quad core I have yet to see an lg phone multitasking as smooth as the exynos does, overall the exynos quad core is something sweet you're missing

ummm so, in the US, we dont have GSM? Exynos processors, and we cant choose the phone we want?

Sorry to break it to you, but we can do all of that here in the good ol US of A. Furthermore, we have this thing called LTE (you'll probably get it in a few years from now) its actually pretty fast, and the reason the US version of the GS3 has an S4 CPU.

How stupid can you be as to say there is no gsm in the united states? And yes I already get LTE through at&t, which is speedier than verizon, and yes it's a gsm carrier, stfu you're making yourself look even more stupid

And fyi no there isn't exynos procedures in the US but there's this thing called, "buying the European counterpart of a phone" however t-mobile is said to bring 2 quad core mobile phones to the US by november, kudos to them lol

This is good news, but why add news about blackberry in a Windows Phone article

It is related. Verizon is confirming what non-Android/non-iOS devices they are picking up. I am glad they are getting a BB10 device. The more options, the better.

The rumors I have heard (through WP Central, where a couple of the usual posters claim to work at Verizon and have been fairly accurate in their gossip. Take that as you will.) said that Big Red will carry one from each WP provider- HTC (maybe branded as the Trophy 2), Samsung, and of course Nokia. The HTC and the Nokia are pretty serious, with the HTC device "all but official". They say the Sammy offering is the device they have heard the least about.

This is so important to WP's growth. How can you have a prayer of improving your standing and building your rep in the US market without being on the largest carrier in the country?

wow.. kinda love verizon!! so samsung and htc (huawei, acer blah blah blah manufacturers that will produce WP8) wont get the love of carriers in the WP platform like nokia have with its lumia?!

oh well, if people will buy a WP, its gotta be a nokia lumia... nokia's share was just down because of symbian.. so WP will be good! besides lumia 900 was a best seller for months...

i love verizon,AT&T and T Mobile... sprint sucks!!!

and i love that they will support BB10 too!!!

but this will just end up on decisons on the pricing of the phones.. it should be lower to iPhone and the next beast of android!!! s3 and oneX is now at $200 oc-contract... so i think $99 will still gonna be good|! :)

i just wish WP8, BB10 the best and Nokia and BlackBerry to be on top again... they should get back their righful thrown...

Glad too see Verizon jumping on WP, I'm sure Sprint won't join anytime soon. They still got this iPhone debt
