Verizon runs ad on Google for unannounced Samsung Rogue
The Samsung Rogue, the follow-up device to the problematic Samsung Glyde, has not yet been officially announced by Verizon. When we last reported on the handset, we noticed that it was missing from Big Red's August rebate form. So as far as the public is concerned, the Rogue does not yet exist. That's what makes it a little strange that an ad for the phone shows up when you google Samsung Rogue. The ad shows a link to Verizon Wireless, but when pressed, it says that the page is unavailable.
All this means is that the Rogue should be official very soon. Let's hope it has a more charmed life than the device it is replacing, but it is certainly off to an auspicious start.
