Verizon rolls out radio update for the HTC Trophy

0. phoneArena posted on 20 Jan 2012, 02:55

Owners of the HTC Trophy from Verizon are reporting that the carrier is pushing out a firmware update that fixes an issue with GSM roaming that occurred when the user came back to the States from overseas; despite some comments to the contrary, this is not the 8107 OS update...

No update here yet. Verizon is really pissing me off when it comes to updates and the fact they don't have any other WP7 devices yet or announced as far as high end WP7 devices.

Got the update two days ago, was a pleasant surprise because I wasn't expecting one. OS is at 7.10.7720.68.

Honestly though, I didn't notice any radio problems before, so I'll be happier when Verizon gets out the 7740 update that has a couple more tangible benefits.
