Verizon officially welcomes PTT CDM8975 to the family
The speculation has become official as Verizon Wireless today announced that the Push-to-Talk CDM8975 was available immediately for purchase through business sales channels. This device runs on Big Red's EV-DO Rev. A network, features a 1.3MP camera and supports Verizon Navigator. VCAST video and music is also available on the handset,  and users can sync music from a PC. The CDM8975 comes with a WAP browser, hands-free voice dialing, MMS, and a microSD slot that can handle up to an 8GB card. After a $50 rebate, the price is $99.99 with a new two-year contract. All together, the handset seems to offer a nice mix of business and pleasure.
