Can someone explain to me why anyone would buy a phone from VZW. letstalk wirefly and others have phones for $100-$150 less then if you buy from VZW.

I'm I missing something? Why is this news worth?

Well wirefly as an example is terrible. Have you read the fine print? They can charge an additional cancellation fee if you return a device or cancel service. Even if your phone gets shut off for something like non-payment for a bit they can charge you. Also going through their customer service is terrible and when you want to return something you have to ship it back and all that hassle.

Thanks for the info. It was an honest question. I don't follow cell phone news very much unless I am due, and I am due now. :-)
