Verizon launches the G'zOne Type-S in Black & Silver
Verizon Wireless today released the G'zOne Type-S sporting a new black & silver color. Unlike the burgundy & gold version, this newer color supports Verizon's PTT (push-to-talk) calling plans. Other features include a resistance to water, humidity, dust, and shock, a 0.30MP camera with flash, Mobile Web, VZ Navigator, Bluetooth, and a 1050mAh battery. Pricing of the G'zOne Type-S in Black & Silver is $79 after rebate on a 2-year contract.

oh, hold on ... feeling groggy...YYYAAAWWWWNNNNNNN Why can't they have more cool phones? This model is HUGE and hard to fit into pockets comfortably. If I wore jeans daily and was working outside (wish I was) then I'd be all over this. But, it doesn't really help me in my office job.

looks like possibly the c711, for use with our new PTT system

nope, looks more like the c211 in silver, for use with our current ptt system, which blows. I would like to see the new PTT phones though. A little inside scoop on some upcoming vz dub news: a new "Enhanced PTT" with more features, beter speed and performance, newer nicer devices slated for summer launch. This is official, not made up. I work for the company in nor cal.
