The arrival of the iPhone 5, or whatever, on the nation's “most reliable network” might be closer than we expect, as the carrier is discounting some...

Tomorrow it will be exactly a year that I've had my iPhone 4 on AT&T. I've never had a problem with it and when it comes to quality and ease of use, it's the best by far. If the next generation iPhone 4S/4GS/5 has the same form factor with boosted internals (more ram, a5 processor, more megapixels, relocated flash) I will be staying with my iPhone 4 and waiting until 2012 for the next iPhone with a different form factor along with upgraded internals.

Goes to show you that you can never go wrong with an iPhone unlike a half baked Android phone.

Can't you just say you like your iPhone without bashing a Droid?

Why not ask the Phandrones the same question. They can give but sure as hell can not take.

At some point, Apple may hit a crossroads. At some point, their loyal fans will want something different in a form factor, serious upgrades to the iOS, and just in general something new. Sorta like what RIM is dealing with. At some point, the longer and longer wait between devices may start catching up with them.

But this ain't that point.

It is still THE iPhone. It is still the device that pushes sales. It is still the only device which can be a year and a half old and still compete to be the top selling smartphone on the carriers it is on. The people who own it swear by it, most have very little problems with it, and will flock to the new one.

And, if you hate Apple, look at the bright side: Unless you want the Samsung Galaxy 2 series, the top end Motorola's (Bionic and Photon), or the HTC Sensation or EVO3D, the demand for the next iPhone will help in the lowering of the price point of most of the other phones you want.

Last paragraph... so true. I have to thank the iPhone for making other competing products much more affordable than they might otherwise be...

Somewhere deep down in my heart , I know I like apple and there products a lot. But, my interest and desire goes for other platforms.
Although, you might never see my money, do keep-up with the good work APPLE.

And Motorola turns over in it's grave. Sniggly has left the building.....

Enjoy!! Would be my first choice on any carrier. I have no T-Mobile. Cruise ESPN just once for me....

Well, you can thank Verizon for being as expensive as f**k and having the greatest coverage in St. Louis. I still love Motorola, and if in the future a premier Motorola phone hits T-Mobile, or I become filthy stinking rich, I'll probably go back. But for now the Sensation was the affordable solution with the most to offer by far.

And I have to admit, I see why everyone drools over Sense. I was never wild about it before, but HTC seems to have ironed out all of the issues I took with the software. In fact, I'm typing on the Sensation right now.

Hey, I didn't know you were local. St. Louis FTW.
I'm debating between the Sensation 4G and the MyTouch 4G Slide. I have a G2 now so the slide out keyboard is intriguing, as are the camera goodies, but the screen size is too small...

I wasn't local until a few months ago when I blew in from NY. The Sensation is fantastic. I definitely recommend it. :)

Talk about a big case of hypocrisy. Sniggy here ****es and moans about iPhone fans trolling Android articles, yet lo and behold, look at what he's doing right now?

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

When do I complain about people making comments? I just care about people being stupid assholes. Is that distinction so hard for you to understand?

All this talk about the Bionic and you do this?!? Just kidding. You made a good purchase, honestly the Bionic probably won't be better at all. I can see it as a larger screen Droid 3 with LTE but without the keyboard. Not saying the Droid 3 isnt good, but it's not "dual core" fast if you know what I mean(aka SGS2).

Ehhh...well, I may have to go back to Verizon or to AT&T. T-Mobile is missing some critical coverage, which we just found out about today. Which sucks. I like the Sensation and I like T-Mobile.

I would much rather be with Sprint or T-Mobile but both of their networks are bad in my area. Sprint works great outside, but as soon as you walk into a building, any building. Your network is gone, it amazes me how I can have 5 full bars and as soon as I walk into a store or somewhere bam it's gone.

Yeah, we avoided Sprint like the plague. They have nothing but issues here in St. Louis. We *thought* from the coverage maps that T-Mobile would be great, considering, but the coverage maps turned out to not be accurate. *grr.*

I love T-Mobile's customer service, and I hope that when AT&T finishes their buyout they'll just fire their own customer service and put T-Mobile's to work instead. And T-Mobile's always been pretty good about getting good phones. I miss being able to rely on them.

I'm praying for a 4 inch iphone with a dual core processor and 1gb of RAM. I don't care for "Retina" display, I'd rather than just deal with it and make it a 4 inch display.

I'll probably upgrade to this regardless since I can sell the iPhone 4 for more than it will cost me to buy the new one.

My friend had apple's care plan and sent his old iphone 3gs in. He got a new one and sold it as new. Got himself 600 dollars where he probably would have gotten half if he sold his old one. It's nice that the apple care plan doesnt become void like other insurance plans if you simply disconnect the phone or dont have service with that carrier anymore.

People dont mind liking on one platform over another..

Its the Iphone trolls that go out of their way to bash any other product other than the iphone.

I have been using an iphone and an android phone for the last few years.

I like both.. but will be interested in seeing what the new iphone looks like.

I use both devices.. Why is it always such an angry war between them??? Either someone doesn't want to conform and get an iPhone so they have to bash it or some Apple Elitist has to defend the superiority of their device. What it all comes down to is that the "best" phone is relative to the individual that is purchasing it. I for one work for Verizon and spent forever selling against the iPhone, now we have it and I have both I sell a lot of both platforms and having both available is better for EVERYONE. I rest my peace.
