Verizon and Wirefly both offer the Nokia Lumia Icon for just $149.99

0. phoneArena 22 Feb 2014, 18:49 posted on

The Nokia Lumia Icon is now available from Verizon. The 5 inch top-shelf Windows Phone 8 model has been priced at $199.99 with a signed two-year contract. But we actually know of a couple of places where you can get either black or white version of the phone for only $149.99, and surprisingly, one of them is Verizon. When you order online from Verizon, use the coupon code VZWDEAL and you'll save $50 on the device...

Now, at this price you would be stupid to not try a WP device out... But, the average human..

Still not low enough. I told everyone that this phone was going to be $99 in about a month. It only took 3 days for Verizon to knock it down to $150. No doubt it's a good phone but the "average human" don't trust WP yet. Talk to a normal person on the street and they won't care because it's not Android or an iPhone.
These phones need to be free on contract until people start to trust them. It's the very same reason why the Nokia 520/521 outsells better Window Phones. Heck, I even bought a 521 for my daughter and it changed my opinion about WP.

Hahaha I was lucky I got mine today from Microsoft.
But I saw it coming. Thats what the price really was from them. Thy just happened to throw in the charging plate & $100 off the 2520.

Its a solid device. It's like a handheld Surface

The Verizon store by my house only sold one on Friday and 2 yesterday. Nobody out side geeks like us, know about this phone and its sad. It has almost the same specs as other High end Android but it doesn't need it. This phone is future proof specially for in the camera. I want to get it but the only thing holding me back is no Google apps.
