People have to realize that ARMS CPU"S cannot run x86 desktop programs that are used in Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, windows 2000, and ECT. Microsoft's Windows 8 smart phones use ARMS CPU"S just like Apple ipads and Android tablets and smart phones do.
The mobile devices world uses ARMS CPU's. if Microsoft did not make any Windows Rt Tablets Apple Ipads and Android tablets would dominate the tablet world because at this time the Best experience you can get running X86 full Windows 8 or 8.1 or Windows 7, Vista
or Windows XP desktop programs require more expensive Intel i5 or i7 CPU's that make a true X86 Windows Tablet cost hundreds of dollars more to buy than an ARMS CPU tablet.
ATOM x86 CPU tablets can run full X*^ desktop programs but are slower and cannot run the high level Windows x86 Desktop programs very well especially if you are multitasking. That said the Windows RT 8.1 tablets are the best bang for the buck business ready tablets on the market because Microsoft Preloaded a special version of Microsoft Office Home/Student and MS "Outlook" onto Windows RT 8.1 tablets. new Apps are coming to this platform to fill in the lap of apps gap between The MS Windows rt tablets and the Apple ipads or Android tablets which have more touch screen apps.
