Verizon Wireless launches UTStarcom XV6700 Pocket PC phone

Verizon Wireless announced the availability of the UTStarcom XV6700 Pocket PC phone through its business channels at the 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The dual-band CDMA smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. It features:

• QVGA 65k touchscreen display
• 1.3 megapixels camera with flash and video capture
• Bluetooth
• EV-DO high-speed data
• full QWERTY keyboard, sliding from the side
• Intel PXA270 416MHz processor
• 64MB RAM; 128 MB Flash ROM
• miniSD memory expansion slot
• WiFi support

UTStarcom XV6700 Pocket PC phone

The UTStarcom XV6700 Pocket PC phone is expected to be available in Verizon Wireless stores as from January 19 for the price of $299.99 after $100 rebate with two-year contract.
