About a week ago LG unveiled its Android 2.1-powered LG Ally that surely has a liking for Marvel superheroes. Today it has become clear which carrier will be offering the phone - Verizon Wireless. Actually, this isn't much of a surprise, because the initial rumors featuring the LG Ally (known as the Aloha back then) involved none other but Verizon's name.
Anyway, as thing are official now, Verizon has also announced the pricing and availability of the device - you'll be able to snatch it for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and a signature on a two-year contract. The Ally will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow, while you'll be able to purchase it from May 20.
The LG Ally is a very capable Android device, sporting a 3.2-inch LCD screen covered with a tempered glass, side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.2MP AF camera, GPS and Wi-Fi - a nicely-rounded smartphone.

The "mervelous" Ally? I guess. After all, right now I am watching Mervel Superheroes on my Sorny television.

I agree, but... This is good for people that need the hardware keyboard.

I agree as well, hardware keyboard is overrated, I moved from a G1 to an Incredible, and I like the onscreen keyboard much better, plus the auto spell correct is amazing, you don't have that with most physical keyboards.
