Verizon Touch Pro2 experiencing battery issues after the WM6.5 update
It looks like some of the users on Verizon who have updated their HTC Touch Pro2 smartphones to the latest version of the operating system are experiencing some battery life-related issues. Unfortunately, it seems as of now that the exact source of the problem has not been identified, although there are some assumptions already made. Some users believe that what’s causing the problem are the automatic weather updates, while others say that the changes to the radio software are the real cause.

Here are the most popular recommendations on how to fix this battery life issue: turn off automatic weather updates, perform a hard reset, re-flash your smartphone.

Actually, we wouldn’t really advise you to flash your HTC Touch Pro2, but rather wait some more and see if Verizon will release an official fix for that.

I thought I was the only one that noticed the battery is garbage now after the WinMo 6.5 update. Actually, I would highly recommend against flashing to the 6.5 OS. I think its terrible and the performance of the phone, including the battery, have decreased markedly.
