Remember when the Motorola DROID BIONIC had a magical, almost mystical aura around it; now the handset is on the downward slide with the launch of the Motorola DROID RAZR and the soon to launch Motorola DROID 4, reflected in Verizon cutting the price of the phone to $199.99 on contract...

Why do you even bother trolling so much? Who are you to decide the better platform between iOS or ICS? If you want boring simplicity, head to Apple. If you want customizable, flexible options, head to Android. F your one-sided opinion and do some homework before you troll on every Galaxy Nexus post you see.

why the hell do you troll? then thumb yourself up? how is the nexus a pos? because it scored better than the gs2 and iphone 4s? please explain troll

it's not trolling just laughing at those who have been harking about the price being $199 but I guess if your an fanboy of the nexus than I guess you'll take it as trolling... OH well still laughing at you

okay, time for the King to butt in Time2ButtIN.
if you're not a troll how about you start making sense around here? what exactly makes you so disgruntled about the Galaxy Nexus? i promise you no one has ever heard of any lag on the Galaxy Nexus so don't give us that.
26. Time2ButtIN (banned) (Posts: 12; Member since: 28 Nov 2011)
not lying people demoed the galaxy nexus when it's online and it lags not a s**t load but it's definitely noticeable. When they scroll and pinch to zoom it's not as smooth as the gs2 or the ip4. For me I have both those phones and from the video mine don't lag like the nexus.
30. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5488; Member since: 23 Oct 2011)
then how about you show us an example because no one here believes you and realistically the Galaxy Nexus should really only do AS WELL as an Exynos powered Galaxy S II and the iPhone 4S.

How's he a troll. He didn't say a word about ios. Honestly I think ios is far from boring and android is good too. The nexus is overhyped IMO. The gs2 lineup is better and cheaper. Everyone isn't a troll.

While in general I would agree with your statement, if you have looked at the other Nexus articles, you would see he is indeed trolling. He posted as "ThisIsAPOS" or whatever.

your the troll and can you address the fact that the galaxy nexus lags when it goes online and scrolls or pinch to zoom??? if you can't than I guess your just a retard... here's a thumbs down 4 u
13. Time2ButtIN (banned) (Posts: 12; Member since: 28 Nov 2011)
OK guess you can''t explain the LAG instead posted something else that's dumb
15. readingthissh1t (Posts: 303; Member since: 20 Jul 2011)
what lag? sounds like you cant explain yourself, so stfu. why make multiple accounts for trolling?
22. readingthissh1t (Posts: 303; Member since: 20 Jul 2011)
all of the test i've seen, the browser beats the f**k out of the sgs2 and the iPhone 4s with no lag at all, so why dont you stfu, n00b.
24. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5488; Member since: 23 Oct 2011)
this phone passes browser tests with flying colors but if you have proof to the contrary i'd like to see it please.

Before you call someone a retard you should review the punctuation in your intended statement. IMO that while I do enjoy winding people up, I do not make prejudicial conjectures that demonstrate a rude and disrespectful character. I would bet that you got or get your ass handed to you all the time...

This also states the tenth of November for launch. Way to find old news and claim it new.

Moto needs to knock off a Benjamin from all of those XOOM 2 variants or they'll probably relive the failure of the original XOOM. i hope the Bionic going down to $199.99 means the $250 price range will belong to the Droid 4! :D
41. roldefol (Posts: 2855; Member since: 28 Jan 2011)
Definitely agree on the Xoom pricing. All the Honeycomb makes need to take a page from the Amazon playbook (sorry) and sell at a lower margin to grow the market. Sorry Motorola, you're not Apple when it comes to tablets.
And $250 sounds right for the Droid 4.

Crappy build quality and mediocre camera. Thats what you get when Samsung makes the Nexus phone. Google should have went with Motorola or HTC.
20. christianqwerty (Posts: 460; Member since: 05 May 2011)
i am not insulting android, just samsung.
31. readingthissh1t (Posts: 303; Member since: 20 Jul 2011)
any device, and not you, my comment was aimed at time2buttin

Samsung has great build quality. Motorola's are built well but HTC's are not all that great. They feel sturdy but the glass isn't well fortified. As for the camera, they have the best camera modules out of the three, with Motorola coming in last. I've used several past devices from all three, so I'm not just talking out of my ass like you.
28. christianqwerty (Posts: 460; Member since: 05 May 2011)
i am not speaking from my ass. I have had the Samsung Eternity & currently have the Samsung Focus. The back wont stay on, the screen is shattered, constant over heating. The only good thing about my phone is the camera(5mp), but the Sg2 has a way better camera, which is why i am curious as to why they didn't put that camera in the Galaxy Nexus
33. sgogeta4 (Posts: 390; Member since: 02 Feb 2011)
Have you used Motorola or HTC? The camera modules sucks from the other companies. I'm not sure on the quality of the SGS2 but the Nexus is definitely no slouch in the camera department. It's definitely not the best but it's far from mediocre. Samsung's Nexus and Galaxy have been top notch phones, though I'm not sure about the other ones you've used. Samsung has a joint venture with Corning and thus have access to the best glass available for their top end phones. Comparing the best from each company, I'd agree with the PA Nexus review that the Nexus is the best of the current VZW Droid phones.
35. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5488; Member since: 23 Oct 2011)
the Nexus is not a Droid. don't get it mixed up.
40. sgogeta4 (Posts: 390; Member since: 02 Feb 2011)
Sorry, I meant with the Android OS. The current top phones being the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Motorola Razr, and HTC Rezound.
43. roldefol (Posts: 2855; Member since: 28 Jan 2011)
From what I've gathered in recent reviews (Droid 3, Bionic, Razr, Rezound, Vivid, the list goes on) Moto and HTC have mediocre cameras too. Apple and Nokia are the ones who "get" camera quality on phones.
What he's confusing is build quality and materials quality. HTC may have better feeling materials, but that doesn't mean Samsung's hard plastic is screwed together poorly.

" Additionally, the Samsung GALAXY Nexus has shown a $299.99 price and an incorrect November 10th launch date for the last 3 leaked MAP lists. "
Verizon had this MAP up the day after Samsung and Motorola made their initial announcements about the devices. If you noticed the date for the Razr says 10/27/11. That was the date the phone went on pre order, not launched. The same 11/10/11 date is shown for the Rezound but the phone didn't launch until a few days later. The MAP dates are projections only and are subject to change any time. So the date isn't incorrect. Its basically so the retailers have some kind of time frame on when the phone would be launching and the price. When it comes to the MAP, the price is generally the only thing that is concrete.

This Nexus.. is becoming a pain in the rear end... they brougjt the house down to announce the first ICS phone... the Asus transformer without the glare will beat it to the punch... The Nexus is becoming the Bionic of Q4... late to the party...
37. readingthissh1t (Posts: 303; Member since: 20 Jul 2011)
Notttt even, sir, people were expecting that phone to launch with or close to the original atrix.
39. roldefol (Posts: 2855; Member since: 28 Jan 2011)
More like the Tbolt of Q4... we all made up our minds that the phone would release here in November, but Samsung, Google and Verizon never promised anything other than Q4. I'd rather get a clean release than a buggy one.
They should pull all the banner ads though. Don't advertise if it's not for sale yet.

Is the Bionic at 200.00$ really that much of an insult to it?? That is still a fairly premium price. It is not like Verizon sells it's phones for cheap anyway. For all the competition that is out there on Big Red (iPhone 4S, 2 top tier Androids and the first ICS coming) I really think that price point shows the Bionic is holding up just fine.
42. roldefol (Posts: 2855; Member since: 28 Jan 2011)
I wonder who would pay even $200 for the Bionic next to the newer, thinner and flashier Razr. The only advantage the Bionic holds is a removable battery. I think consumers get what people here have been saying - an extra $100 isn't much over the $1700+ life of your contract.
38. doubler86 (Posts: 310; Member since: 26 Jan 2011)
My prediction when it comes to price is that the Nexus will be $199 for the 16GB and $299 for the 32GB
