Verizon HTC Ozone - a new image and pricing details
As you know, Sprint and T-Mobile aren’t the only carriers to get their hands on the HTC Snap. The Verizon version of the handset, named the HTC Ozone, is expected to become available online with Big Red on June 29 and on July 13 for the fans of traditional shopping. However, pricing details were until recently, nowhere to be found. Now a tipster of ours has informed us that the HTC Ozone will come at a price of $99 after rebate. We also know that the operating system will be updateable to v6.5 after the initial launch with 6.1 and that the battery is 1500mAh, which should guarantee a long enough usage time. Last but not least, we have a new image of the Ozone, so take your time to examine it and don’t forget to share with us what you think about it!

HTC Ozone Preliminary Specifications

Thanks to our tipsters!

*Update: BGR has just posted a full specs list of the HTC Ozone, coming from leaked official documents. So, we can now see the handset features 256 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM, 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2MP camera with autofocus, microSD slot and EV-DO Rev. A. It is also a quad-band GSM world phone. In addition, one of the documents says the price with a two-year contract will actually be $49.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate.
The HTC Ozone should be available for $49.99

lol.... the diamond is a slightly upgraded vogue. don't get me wrong i love my vogue (as I have unlocked it thanks to NFSFAN at xda and ppchaven). But the snap is a good change for global WM users who may not like the big-ness of the Samsung Saga... personally i like the saga better as it is WM Pro, but HTC does a good job on WM standard so this should be good.

LOL you are pathetic. I could show you why everything on my phone is better than your stupid Storm/curve, which I am pretty sure you own. Blackberries are for people who "think" they are tech savvy when in fact they don't know anything about technology (kinda like the average mac user). WM is bar far more corporate savvy, cheaper to operate from a corporate standpoint, more efficient for IT uses, and has more practical uses for the average consumer than blackberry ever will. You think blackberry is better because you don't know anything and just push blackberry on everyone. You know that blackberry does get a portion of your data sales that VZW does right? You know if all of those tool blackberry wanna-be's switched to a windows mobile phone and had a data plan that VZW would end up with a higher net profit don't you? And it would increase your "precious" STI you all talk about and covet so much. You are the classic example of everyone I hate at VZW. HTC IS WINDOWS MOBILE! And blackberry will always take a back seat for innovation on the technological frontier.

Very nice, very nice. One thing I will disagree with you about is the STI though. The 1 thing I enjoy about VZW is the STI, so, anyone who bashes extra money is crazy, haha.
