Even though Verizon has the Nokia Lumia 822 in its stores now for $149.99, you can save yourself some cash by heading over to Best Buy where the same phone is $49.99 with a signed two-year contract; one minor little detail, only the black version is covered by the sale...

Except at VZW the non contract price is 449.99 and at Best Buy it is 559.99.

I had the pleasure of toying with a Lumia 822 (White) earlier today at a Verizon store, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with the hardware. Although, it's not top high-end hardware, it is certainly not the mediocrity that they have been pushing the past few years.
However, I still find the Tile UI grotesque. Is there a way to get rid of the tiles?
