Well, well, well – look what someone just slipped anonymously under our office's door. The handout you see pictured below, reportedly given to Verizon staff during a meeting this morning, reveals that on November 7, the carrier will introduce a new brand of budget-friendly devices called Ellipsis. Does the name sound familiar? It should to those who keep a close eye on our news feed...

Agreed. This is NOT a good deal at all. This should be a free tablet with a contract.
Sprint is offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 with LTE for $50 with a 2 year contract and it's a brand name tablet much better than this POS. You can get a 2gb plan for $15 which is a good deal if you are in an LTE market.
Or just get a Nexus 7 which blows both of them out of the water.
