User guide for the F1 has appeared on Acer´s website and
reveals quite interesting details about the device. According to the
document, the official name of the device is S200, but the similarity
to the 3-year-old Qtek S200 ends here. The quad-band Acer will feature a huge 3.8-inch screen with
native resolution of 480x800 pixels, powerful 1GHz Qualcomm 8520
processor, 512MB RAM, 256MB ROM, Wi-Fi, DLNA, tri-band 3G support and
5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, all packed into compact,
12mm thin body. Moreover, the handset will be running the latest
Microsoft OS version - Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional. The specs look
awesome, at least on paper and we certainly hope the
appearance of the user guide on the manufacturer´s website heralds a forthcoming market launch.
