i know its a real shame too...kind of pathetic. its the ultimate example for conformism...not to mention a prime example of an idiotic consumer.

Considering the ratings for this phone, low or high, this doesn't make much of a difference, maybe it will. But ultimately pointless. If anything, there'll be an update to the Voyager anyway.

i have one question. So the update is COMPLETELY free right? no hidden fees or anything? RIGHT??? :) as long as u have an old voyager its free?? right?? sry its just i cant believe all this is free.

The phone isn't free if that's what you're thinking. The software upgrade is free...like all other software upgrades are.

I just got the Titanium as well. (I exchanged the Dare for it, because I just couldn't handle the Dare's price tag) I love the color and the phone in general, but I did notice that a few things from the Dare's software didn't get ported over to the Voyager. Namely: -No shortcut 'tab' on the home screen -Music player is still red, red, red. The Dare's is a newer style, and looks a thousand times better -No Drag and drop icons to the home screen (this one isn't a biggie, but you get used to it when its there) -No OTA updates. I thought for sure they would include this, but apparently they couldn't for some reason. -Some of the little features, like the 'call' icon to the side of contacts, and a 'play' button next to the ringtones. Keep in mind, those are small niggles and the update still breathes new life into the Voyager, but its still disappointing that they were overlooked.

The rest of the Dare's UI for the Voyager is suppose to be coming next month. This will be the final update from what i heard.

wait so the upgrade is COMPLETELY FREE right?? no hidden fees??? RIGHT??

49. (unregistered) posted on 22 Aug 2008, 10:27

dude calm your shit, ATTENTION PEOPLE THERE ARE NO HIDDEN FEES FOR THE UPDATE, READ IT AGAIN, NO HIDDEN FEES NO HIDDEN FEES NO HIDDEN FEES

Honestly, for the AT&T, you are rediculous. I am only seventeen and I was raised by the saying, "Fair is the amount you pay to get on a bus." So grow up and move on, or better yet switch to verizon. They have all of the amazing perks, so obviously it won't be free.

can anyone tell me anything about this phone that cool??? like?? or dislike? i ordered it yesterday

66. (unregistered) posted on 25 Aug 2008, 17:35

(ss) I just got this phone on friday & I haven't been able to put it down since. Both screens are clean & crisp, the qwerty keyboard is nice & roomy & the touch screen is super easy to navigate. Occasionally the phone will register the wrong selection via the touchscreen but it's really nothing to gripe about. battery life is great & the reception is great too. i love the camera on this phone...takes good pics for a phone & it's easy to use. there's a bunch of other cool features that you'll discover once you get it. You will not be disappointed w/ this phone.

Well for those of you interested in "free" ringotones and such go towww.thumbplay.com they have an easy way to get the lastest ringtones and subsription is 9.99 a month or if ur handset has a "voice record" option and you can send ringtones..that is your best and wasiest way to "free" ringtones. But all in all there are NO free ringtones....

69. shlazman (unregistered) posted on 25 Aug 2008, 21:10

Check out Cellfish.com they will allow you to crop a piece of your favorite song then add it as a ringtone but your phone must be MP3 compatible.

We have been Verizon customers for nearly ten years now...all 6 of us. We like the service and the phones offered I just hope that the company doesn't get caught up in the quandary of quantity versus quality. Keep it competitive but keep the phones cool and functional and for you hard-chargers out there and you know who you are, the phones made by Casio just kick ass! Princess phones they are not! Good day to all.
