Earlier stats that showed 95,000 units of the Amazon Kindle Fire pre-ordered after 1 day have been updated to a total of 250,000 units reserved in the 5 days since the online retailer started accepting pre-orders; if this trend continues, the Amazon Kindle Fire could outsell the Apple iPad...

This could have been the TouchPad or the playbook, amazon showed us that sometimes to win we must loose.

exactly. you have to hit pricepoint, features, and brand quality all perfectly to have a huge launch. looks like amazon did just that.
Of course the others are not selling well in comparison, for just a few bucks more u get the fire.
First the i4s flop, and now amazon is out preordering the ipad. Apple is not having a good week so far.
