Update to Google+ now hitting the Android Market bringing new UI and more
On this Halloween night, Google is bringing us a treat in the form of an updated Google+ which is now rolling out in the Android Market. The update was developed during Google's work on Ice Cream Sandwich which explains why the look and feel of the new UI has the feel and look of Android 4.0.

Other changes include an improvement in battery life when using the app, improvements in navigation and performance, "significant" improvement in notifications, a new UI for posting, support for Google app users and users now can sign out of Google+. You can now add people to your circle from circle profiles, and several bugs have been exterminated.

Check out the screenshots below to see the new look of Google+.

Try making a shortcut?

I noticed that. The only way I could open it is because I already had a shortcut on my homescreen.

Oh, and I was able to open it by searching for it with the Google search app. Just make sure it's set to search installed apps.

It still doesn't properly parse links, so sharing links from mobile is still useless. Hard to understand how this hasn't been fixed yet.

remember the article about how the google uppers arent actually using G+? lol thats probably why.

It's just weird that Google has been so good about listening to customer feedback while building G+, but this problem has been left behind.

Maybe they are working on other things? For example many have requested that they would like to send pictures through Google talk and the messenger

And yess still can't figure how to like comments

It works for me on my Desire Z. Note that they removed the widget. Some people are complaining about that. For me, I think the widget is just useless and I don't use it at all.
